Yoth Iria, the brainchild of Greek black metal veterans Jim Mutilator and The Magus, have unveiled the next track off their upcoming debut album.
Commenting on the track, the band said: “The song Yoth Iria is dedicated to the entity who is our main inspiration as a band. It is the embodiment of the dark side of pre-christian civilisations and a reference to the dark self and the Luciferian spirit. High-priest and king, demon and angel. The music itself is in essence a hymn to him who defined the musical and lyrical direction of our band.”
The debut album entitled “As The Flame Withers” is slated for a 25 January 2021 release via Pagan Records in CD, LP nad digital format. The album provides a fresh look into ’90s Greek occult black metal with a nostalgia of the past and a look into the future.
“As The Flame Withers” was recorded and completed at the famous Pentagram Studio with George Emmanuel (Rotting Christ, Septicflesh, Lucifer’s Child, Acherontas etc). The artwork was completed by Harnasash Singh.
