Iron Maiden are back in Croatia! This time, they will play at Arena Zagreb on 24th of the July 2018. This announcement was posted on the band’s official Facebook page.
Following the massively successful global tour of 2016-17 in support of their 16th studio album “The Book Of Souls”, Iron Maiden will take to the road again in 2018 with a series of arena and festival shows in Europe on the “Legacy Of The Beast World Tour” opening in Tallinn, Estonia on May 26 and finishing at the O2 Arena, London on August 10. They will play in Zagreb on July 24th, 2018.
The complete European tour dates can be seen on band’s official website, and we can expect the tour to carry over in 2019.
The concept for the “Legacy Of The Beast World Tour” was inspired by Maiden’s mobile game and comic book of the same name and the stage set design will feature a number of different but interlocking “worlds” with a set list covering a large selection of Eighties material with a handful of surprises from later albums to add diversity.
Tremonti are American heavy metal band who will play as special guests of the legendary Iron Maiden. Their cocktail of thrash metal, speed metal, alternative metal, hard rock and post-grunge will be delivered to Croatian fans straight from Orlando, Florida.
This is not their only appearance on this tour. They have the same honor of appearing on the “Legacy Of The Beast World Tour” concerts in France, Italy, Switzerland, Portugal, Spain and Poland. They will set the stage with their hits such as “You Waste Your Time”, “Another Heart”, “All I Was”, “Cauterize” and “The Things I’ve Seen”.
Mark Tremonti, vocalist and guitarist after who the band was named, is known as the guitarist of American rock banda Creed, and later, lead guitar of Alter Bridge, another quite popular band. Along with Tremonti, current band members are guitarist Eric Friedman and drummer Garrett Whitlock, while vocals and bass was done by Wolfgang Van Halen from 2012 to 2017. What started as a solo project of founder Mark Tremonti, eventually evolved into a fully fledged band following the release of their debut album “All I Was” in 2012.
