Ass Kicking Fest has returned after three years! The fifth edition of the festival will be held on the 9th of March in Novi Sad at CK13 club. There will perform VolumeFeeder from Hungary and Riverroth, Northern Revival and Canabin from Novi Sad. The program will stat at 21:00 and finish two minutes to midnight. Tickets can be bought at the door per 300 dinars. From 20:00 to 21:00 you can buy two tickets and third get for free!
VolumeFeeder is an explosive metal trio from Hungary. Robert Jakša, ex-drummer of the well-known Hungarian band Ektomorf, will bring us his main band which is characterized by heavy riffs, catchy melodies strong rhythm section. The band has released two EPs, Middle Finger Attitude (2011) i Crowns and Chains (2013). At Ass Kicking Fest, they will promote the upcoming debut album entitled “The Element of Fire”, which will be released in February. They have promised it will be heavy as hell!
Northern Revival is Stoner band from Novi Sad. From their belt are one EP “Mouth Full Of Dirt” (2015) and one full length “Life Survival Tips” (2016). They shared the stages with bands like Planet Of Zeus, Sasquatch, Greenleaf, Bongzilla, and have performed at many festivals such as Exit, Barock Fest, Kunigunda Festival, Alparfest, Gugulan Rock Fest, TLO Fest… In 2017, Craft RazBeerbriga made Northern Revival pale ale. In January 2019, they released EP entitled “Electric Power Supply”. In February, they started the Electric tour 2019 to promote new songs.
Riverroth are Blackned Thrash band from Novi Sad. For a short time, they have quite enough followers. In 2017, they released debut EP “Infernal Trashing”, on which they are still looking for their sound. In 2018, they released a new record “Manifestation Of Dark Arts” and defined what the audience could expect of them. The crown of their current career will be in April at Taurus Metal Festival in Germany and certainly that won’t be their last stop.
Canabin is the newest Stoner Metal band in Novi Sad. They are very young and this is a perfect opportunity to hear something new and unexplored. Don’t miss the show!
