Grom Records decided that Belgrade-based black metal band Kolac needed to be given a shot, so they are featured on a tribute double CD called “We Worship Desaster”. Now we get to hear their rendition of “Crypts of Dracula” originally performed by legendary German black/thrash metal band Desaster who have been around since 1988.

Kolac have recently released their 9-song effort “Zauvek Crni” via the aforementioned label.
Kolac were formed in the summer of 2006. After spending 2 years writing music and lyrics, as well as an epic quest to find a drummer, they have recorded their first promo material “9/11 Last Minute Silence”. Their second demo, “… No God”, was released in 2009. godine, featuring two author songs and two covers.
A year later, they have released a demo “Like A Nun To The Slaughter”, featuring a new song, two re-recorded songs, 3 covers as well as the entire first demo. Cover was made by Danilo Trbojević (Nadimač, Daggerspawn) who did guest vocals on a Sodom cover.
Soon afterwards, they have released their 4th demo with 4 songs and 4 covers, which was recorded during their show at Belgrade, at club Ciklon. In 2011. they have released their first full-length called “Bastard son is dead” via Polish label Moon Records. It features 9 songs and a cover of “Bleached Bones” originally by Marduk.
They have also released two compilation CDs, and they celebrate their 5 year anniversary with a superb show at Ciklon. Following the compilation, they have released a split “Sacrifice To The Bloody Cult” along with Mržnja and Stonecrypt!
During 2012, they have had 2 more releases, a compilation via Moon Records containing demos, lives and unreleased material, and another effort with 3 new songs and older ones as a bonus. These were presented to labels and fanzines as promo material.
During 2013, they have released a split vinyl with a Spanish band Xerión, and a split from 2014 featuring Satanic Forest (Brazil), 1389 (BiH) i Eris (Serbia). Later that year, they released a live recording called “MMXIII Live” via Aschefruehling Records. Music is written by Zlorog, and lyrics are done by Grob.
