Ascendant has released a video for the song “Tears Of his Majesty”. That song is on the album “A Thousand Echoes”, which will be released April 20th, 2018 via Pure Steel Publishing. The pre-order phase will start on April 6th, 2018 in our webshop.
Coming from different parts of the world, Ascendant have found refuge in creating music. Founded in the United Arab Emirates in 2012 by Alaa, Puneet and Ashish. For several months, the band auditioned multiple drummers in Dubai, trying to find the best possible fit – and they found exactly that with Aram. The entry of the very talented Youmni, on vocals, cemented the lineup.
Right from the beginning, the members had a clear vision for the band-to play exactly the sort of music they loved. Pure, powerful and high quality heavy metal-and they would write about topics that mattered to them, eschewing the tropes common in the genre.
With an emphasis on playing original material, Ascendant took the UAE and Middle East metal scene by storm after just a handful of shows-and is now regarded as the top Heavy metal band in the region.
All the band members are experienced musicians with multiple albums and several projects behind them. Their synergy is obvious and is manifested in their intense live performances and in the songs which are instantly catchy, electrifying, emotional and powerful.
