On November 5th, Austria’s black metal shamans ANOMALIE drag you into uncharted waters with their new album “Tranceformation” that offers an hypnotic mix of ferocious extreme metal with genuine folk vibes. Out via AOP Records, the fourth studio offering from multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and songwriter Marrok (live guitarist of Harakiri For The Sky) and drummer Lukas Schlintl was mixed and mastered in the Woodshed Studios by V. Santura, and is a piece of sonic art that invites you to witness the invisible, and leave the demons of your past behind, all whilst externalising our human nothingness within the everlasting Nature.
The band unveils one of the album’s highlights – ‘Cerulean Sun’ that features guest vocals by none less than Rotting Christ‘s Sakis Tolis and a haunting violin part from Sara Wolske.
In case you missed the first single titled ‘Trance II – Relics’ featuring Enthroned‘s vocalist Nornagest.
Christian ‘Marrok’ Brauch – Vocals, Guitars, Bass, Synths
Lukas Schlintl – Drums and Percussions
