Stonebride was founded in Zagreb in 2005 by drummer Stjepan “Steps” Kolobarić and guitarist Tješimir Mendaš. A year later they were joined by vocalist/guitarist Siniša “Krnfa” Krneta and bassist Alen Nužda, starting with professional work. They are active in the local, as well as European underground scene for almost 15 years. Throughout their career they managed to release 3 albums, 2 EPs and a split. Their most recent release is the 2018 EP called “Animals on Display”. This gig has the purpose of promoting the vinyl edition of the aforementioned EP, which will be available for purchase at the venue. This year marks the band’s first line-up change, so they will also introduce their new bassist Matija Ljevar.
Kevlar Bikini might be stylistically different from Stonebride, but that doesn’t mean they deliver any less of a punch. They are notable for energetic live performances and their music has elements of many different styles like hardcore punk, noise and metal, so the audience will be in for a special treat.
