Moonshade released “Epitaph”, the first single from their sophomore album

by Metal Jacket

Moonshade is a melodic extreme metal band from Porto, Portugal, founded in 2011. Following the release of their critically acclaimed debut Sun Dethroned, the band released a new single, titled Epitaph, on April 8th, 2022, as the first advance for their new album (title and tracklist to be announced).

Epitaph is the first single from Moonshade’s sophomore album. The song is now out in all digital platforms and streaming services, and is meant as a protest against the ineptitude of world leaders in terms of meeting carbon emission goals, as well as the criminal attitude of fossil fuel companies.  This is Moonshade‘s rallying cry for all those who truly care about the Mother Earth. Produced, mixed and mastered by Afonso Aguiar (Titanforged Productions).

Epitaph‘s music video was directed by Joël Martins, veteran video content producer and frequent collaborator with Season of Mist (Aephanemer, Omega Infinity).

“Epitaph was created as an earth-shattering anthem denouncing global warming inaction, as well as a rallying call to those who cherish Mother Earth as Humanity’s only home. Join us in the revolution to end all revolutions – the one that will save all there is to save. You are expected.”
