Michał Łysejko leaves Decapitated!

by Ivona Bogner

Michał Łysejko, Polish drummer, posted on his FB page:

The last 5 years with Decapitated were amazing – they shaped me as a musician and human being, but I’ve decided to move forward and leave the band. I’d like to thank all those who supported my activities while being part of this outstanding band. It was an honor to share the stage with you and all those who took part in awesome tours and gigs. These unforgettable moments had a huge impact on my life, for which I’ll be forever grateful. I have, however, come to the point where I feel I need to make some changes and move boldly in new musical directions! I will keep you updated. Cheers! And once again – thanks for everything!

Besides Decapitated, Michał Łysejko had been playing with Norden, Sonheillon, Access Denied, Driller, Evilution and Melechesh. With Decapitated, he released “The Blasphemous Psalm to the Dummy God Creation” (single, 2014), “Blood Mantra” (2014) and “Anticult” (2017).
