Dva Poljska benda Entropia i Maze, u kojima dobrim dijelom sviraju isti članovi, sviraju sutra povodom njihove male turneje i u Gjuro 2 u Zagrebu.

Tokom tih koncerata binu smo dijelili sa bandovima poput Mayhem, Altar of Plagues, Aluk Toldo i mnogim drugima.

MJM: Koju vrstu metala svirate?

MJM: Što ste do sada izdali?preuzmi (1)

MJM: Da li ste prije svirali u Hrvatskoj?

Ako ste iskreni u svom pozivu, tada ćete i uspjeti.

English version

MJM: Please introduce your band to our reader.

Michał: Hello there, we are Entropia and Maze, unorthodox black metal bands inspired by the urban culture and dissolved in the acid fumes. Entropia was founded almost 8 years ago in Poland and after the succesful premiere of our debut album Vesper, which incorporated many elements of post-rock and shoegaze music, we played numerous shows in Poland and neighbouring countries, during which we had a chance to share the stage with Mayhem, Altar of Plagues, Aluk Todolo and many other great bands. Currently we are wrapping up work on our second lenght that was an immense challenge to us as musicians and people. Maze is a band that was founded year ago our drummer Patryk and guitar player Jakub to push some other ideas than our main band. Soon, they were joined by the vocalist Brian, who was born in Poland but is living in Germany for several years now. Their song lyrics are written in German and that forms a really interesting mixture.

MJM: What kind of metal do you play and why?

Michał: Speaking about music is like dancing about architecture, but if I was to explain sound of both bands it’s basically ambitious metal music that draws mostly from black metal, but other genres of music as well. Each band has it’s own agenda but there is a drug vibe that goes along well with both of us. This is music that touches what is really unconscious. It’s really dark, sometimes very sad, just like everything on this planet.

MJM: What do you publish till now?

Michał: As I said, we have released Vesper back in 2014, preceeded by the 2 EP’s under Entropia name but more post-rock or even alternative in style, which are drastically different than what we play now. Maze is to release their first EP any day now, just before our tour starts. We are really looking forward to it.

MJM: Do you play before in Croatia?entropia

Michał: No, we never did. We are very pleased to make a quick visit to Croatia to share our music with you.

MJM: What do you know about Croatia?

Michał: It’s a popular holiday destination, especially in Poland and I’ve been in Croatia myself, exploring both Zagreb and the Dalmatia region. It’s really beautiful country with an interesting history.

MJM: What do you expect of Croatian gig?

Michał: We hope to see some fresh faces and I expect to see people from Croatia that I was sending their bought CD’s too 😉 We will do our best to deliver the best show possible to the Zagreb audience, have a chance to talk with some new people and have a nice time in general.

MJM: In your opinion, where is the future of metal music?

Michał: The metal music is about being extreme but not about being the fastest or most evil out there, but about searching for the limitless possibilites that heavy music has to offer. If you stay true to this simple creed you will succeed. There are tons of fake bands out there that are just mimicking others and that’s their limit. We are not those. We have our own story to tell.

MJM: For the end say something to our readers who will come on your gigs.

Michał: You are very welcome to our shows, it will be as much experience to you as it is to us. This is about music and you, the audience, are a part of it.

MJM: Thanks
