The spectral storm will rise over Zagreb on the night of June 17th. The storm will be delivered by a killer package consisting of Uada, Panzerfaust and Bednja.
Uada is an American black metal band, who gained a lot of prominence over the last few years. They have released two critically successful albums “Devoid of Light” in 2016 and “Cult of a Dying Sun” in 2018. They return to Zagreb after a little more than a year, stating that they really liked the Croatian audience and couldn’t wait to come back again. Their dark and mystic presence makes them synonymous with some of the leading bands of black metal genre today, like Mgła, Batushka, Cult of Fire, etc. With that being said, let Uada engulf you into the deepest layers of their darkness.
Panzerfaust is a Canadian black metal band, whose music could be best described as a mixture of Dissection and Deathspell Omega. Founded in 2005, the band has garnered an impressive catalogue throughout the years consisting of one split, three Eps and four albums, out of which they will be promoting their latest one, “The Suns of Perdition – Chapter I: War, Horrid War”. Their mixture of dark atmosphere and raw black metal aggressiveness definitely makes them an act worth checking out.
Bednja is a post-black metal/post-hardcore band from Varaždin. They garnered many followers from their gigs throughout the region and they have signed a deal with Transcending Obscurity Records, for which they will be releasing a debut album very soon. Their music combines hatred, frustration, resistance and energy, for which they might be referred to as Croatian Oathbreaker. With growing following and unquestionable quality, this band is definitely worth checking out on stage.
Monday might not be the most ideal day for a concert, but with this package Monday evening will feel like a Friday evening, so come and embrace the coming storm.
