MetalDays Warm Up: Mosh Till You Drop IV @ eMCe plac, Velenje, 4.5.2018
4. May 2018 @ 08:00 - 17:0021€ – 25€
MetalDays Festival really needs no introduction, and the organizers are putting together quite a lineup for this year. On that occasion, Železni aktivizem wants to make sure that you don’t get bored until your favorite festival starts, so they have invited some kick-ass metallers such as Rotting Christ, Infest, Nature and Kholn to MetalDays Warm Up on Friday, May 4, in Velenje.
Rotting Christ is a black metal band coming from Greece that’s gained a cult following over three decades during which they have been impressing Europe, as the rest of the world, with its mystical spells. This year, they celebrate their 30th anniversary, and as a sign of gratitude they will release the Greatest Spells compilation album coming to the stores on 23rd of March.
Infest are Serbian deaththrashers, from Jagodina and Belgrade. Since their beginning in 2002, they’ve been craving madness and energy from the deaththrash genre and have released 5 full-length albums, two demo albums and one EP album. It’s been 16 years since, and Infest is one of the most active groups in the region and has played at many festivals.
Nature is a prog death monster from Kranj. The evolution of this monster was completed by a considerable infusion of fresh blood, which created a new appetite for winning stages all over Slovenia and beyond. With spooky tempos, impossible riffs and raw cries, they created a progressive death metal masquerade, whose power only a few can escape.
Khol is a black metal band, which was launched by the bassist Chrnobog in the winter of 2013, as an upgrade of a black metal project. Later on, other members joined such as Varpulis on the guitar, Devil on vocals and Morgoth on drums. After a few months, the band already had enough of its own material to be able to perform for the first time, of course in their hometown of Velenje, and later some concerts around Slovenia. In 2015 they recorded the first demo called Wrath of the Forgotten, which announced the arrival of the first album, expected this year.
As a bonus, one lucky fan will get a ticket for the MetalDays Festival.
