Jinjer are very excited to announce that they will be playing a handful of shows in Germany and Switzerland this September! As a band they have always tried 100% to bring the music to you and the band believes this is a chance to return to some kind of normal this year. It’s the end of summer and just before autumn, with many successful shows in both countries in the last few months. If there is a chance to perform safely again – for the band and for you – THE CHANCE MUST BE TAKEN! Tickets are very limited and all shows follow local safety and social distancing guidelines. Sickret is a nu-metal band from the Swiss old town Sursee.
The band Sickret was founded in 2010 by Timmy Michels (vocals), Sandro Büchler (guitar), Stefan Fischer (drums) and Chris Niederberger (bass). Before that, all musicians had gained experience in different groups. After winning first place at the KUFA Hardcore CUP in 2012, with which Sickret prevailed against numerous Swiss bands, other concerts and the like followed. a. with Sick of It All, Pro-Pain, Skindred, Breakdown of Sanity, Aborted, First Blood, Jinjer, Hemlock, Undivided and Dub Trio.
In April 2013 Sickret released her debut album Pointless Appendix, which was produced by Sebastian Schiess in the SOS Basement Studio in Oberentfelden. The album was initially self-distributed. With their debut, the band came to a number of shows at home and abroad. After an EMP support deal in 2014, a two-week tour through Cuba, a headlining tour through Eastern Europe and further performances at home and abroad followed in February 2015.
In October 2016 Sickret released her second album Hypocritical, which was mixed and mastered by producer Aljoscha Sieg (Pitchback Studio). At the same time the band signed with the record label “darkTunes Music Group”, which from now on sells both albums.
