Black Tusk & Killed A Fox @ Močvara, Zagreb, 24.5.2019
24. May 2019 @ 08:00 - 23:5565kn – 80kn
Closing of this year’s season of Good Vibrations will be handled by sludge metal legends Black Tusk, backed up by local forces Killed a Fox.
Black Tusk was founded by three friends in 2005 in Savannah, Georgia. Coming from the same city as some of the most notable sludge metal names today, like Baroness and Kylesa, the band plays their unique brand of sludge metal combined with thrash metal and hardcore punk, which they refer to as “swamp metal”. They currently work in a line-up consisting of Andrew Fidler (guitars, vocals), James May (drums, vocals), Corey Barhorst (bass, vocals) and a latest addition to the band Chris Adams (guitars). The band has released 3 EPs and 6 albums, out of which they will be promoting their latest one “TCBT” from 2018 on this tour.
Killed a Fox started out as a trio consisting of a vocalist and two guitars in 2006. Three years later they released their debut album “Fluorescence” as a quintet now built up with a drummer and bassist. Their sound can be described as a mixture of many rock genres with some traces of metal. After some line-up changes, the band settled in 2010 as a four piece. In 2013, they became a part of House of Pablo collective, alongside She Loves Pablo and many others and they released their second album “Spring of Sloth and Haze”, which gained a lot of praise from fans and critics alike. After sharing a stage with many notable bands, like Alice in Chains, Orange Goblin, Karma to Burn, Eyehategod and many others, the band released their third album in 2019 called “Crown Shyness”. Their line-up consists of Chris Ian (vocals), Sho (guitars), Ivan Mioč (bass) and Pavle Gulić (drums).
With these bands on the bill a good time is guaranteed, so head on to Močvara and enjoy the closing of this year’s season of Good Vibrations with Black Tusk and Killed a Fox.
