Decapitated are back in full force! This Polish death metal band is promoting their latest full length album “Anticult”, released last year via Nuclear Blast.
The “Anticult Balkan Tour” will include 13 cities in 13 countries, including both Croatia and Serbia. Decapitated will perform in Croatian city of Rijeka at Omladinski kulturni centar Palach on November 10th, and just a day later, they will be in Serbia where they will play in Novi Sad at Firchie Think Tank Studio, on November 11th.
The band had a very rough year, facing with rape and kidnapping charges. After the charges were dismissed, Decapitated is back stronger than ever. Members of the band were arrested on September 9 in Santa Ana, California. Guitarist Waclaw Kieltyka was charged with first-degree kidnapping and second-degree rape, drummer Michal Lysejko was charged with first-degree kidnapping and third-degree rape, vocalist Rafal Piotrowski was charged with first-degree kidnapping and second-degree rape, and bassist Hubert Wiecek was charged with first-degree kidnapping and third-degree rape. In January 2018, the agony was over and the band is ready to strike again.
Supporting them on this tour will be Dutch melodic death band HateSphere and Polish industrial metal band Thy Disease. Fans will have a unique opportunity to hear Decapitated’s last release and since HateSphere is working on new album, they will play a few brand new, still unreleased songs.
Nuclear Blast have announced two more bands, so stay tuned, we will have more news soon!
