Having the bands like Firewind, I am not afraid for the future of metal at all.
Swedes they are, like Germans they sound. For all of us dreamers, fiction and fantasy lovers, Mad Hatter, brings astonishing album!
When it comes to music it suppose to be a blues-based Deep Purple-like rock to a more punk-influenced history and on to an rocking groove with a sustained goal to always swing sharply!
“The Bastards” is in general heavier than anything they’ve done before and honestly, it’s not what I wanted it to be but what can we do.
The guys from Asking Alexandria really know how to incorporate elements from pop, hip hop and other genres into rock and metal while not sacrificing heaviness and make it their own.
“Braindead” is very fluid, mature, dynamic, powerful, galloping, melodic, energizing album. If you ask me what stands out on this album with no doubt I would say beautiful twin guitar harmonies.
I was never very huge fan of Black Metal, even if just love several bands of this genre! I really like what I hear on Svedrena “Härd”.
I can guarantee you that in general you’ll don’t be bored during listening to Lucid Conformity “Architects of Madness”.
