Apocalyptica will celebrate the 20th anniversary of their cult album “Plays Metallica By Four Cellos” by returning to the Vatroslav Lisinksi Concert Hall on April 3rd.
The instrumental cello-driven metal opus had no idea it would change the landscape of heavy music for years to come when they released the epic debut. But the Finnish four have created a very own genre and laid the foundation to a career that has lasted for 20 years so far with millions of records sold and sold out shows around the world.
So masters of the craft decided to re-release their debut for the 20th anniversary. Containing never-before-released instrumental recordings of “Battery”, “Nothing Else Matters” and “Seek & Destroy”, the updated version gave fans a chance to revisit the novel take on this classic metal band on the 22nd of July.
Schedule your calendar for April 3rd. Maybe James Hetfield will be waiting for you. Well, you never know!
