AnVision: Quarantine story

by Natas Dog

In Corona Corner, we are asking musicians how the outbreak has effected them, how did they adapt to the situation, what did they learn.

Hi! How are you doing during corona outbreak?
Marqus: We are working on the new songs at our studio.

What have you cancelled/postponed due coronavirus?
Marqus: We had to change all our plans. Our new album (Love And Hate) tour had to be delayed and moved on new dates.

How the global coronavirus pandemic is directly impacting bands?
Marqus: No gigs, what is most importent for every musicians and bands. Less albums sold (lot of them we are selling during gigs). Positive aspects – we have much more time to work on new album.

How are you keeping your fans during this chaotic period?
Marqus: We try to be active in the net and media and we hope our fans will not forget about us.

What will metal look like when we re-emerge from isolation?
Marqus: Hopelly it will explode with double power and everything will be back to normality shortly.

Who will suffer the most after all: musicians, organizers promoters…
Marqus: All of us. We work togheter and we live from each other. Musicians are in the stage light, but they can not do it without hard working organisers, promotors, technicians, drivers etc.

What is your isolation soundtrack?
Marqus:We don’t have any special isolation soundtrack.

Besides gigs, what/whom do you miss the most?
Marqus: Meeting with friends, traveling, favorite food and drinks at favorite restaurants.

Do you have any rehearsals during quarantine? If yes, how do they look like?
Marqus: As I said above, we’re working on new songs at our AnVision Studio. We don’t have a special strictions and quarantine, so we can do it almost normaly.

Thank you so much for your time. Stay safe!
